Remembering Elephants

by Wildlife Photographers United

This unprecedented book will show the typical story of the life of an elephant from birth to death, using photographs donated by 65 of the world’s top wildlife photographers. Producer and wildlife photographer Margot Raggett says the aim is to create the most beautiful book on elephants ever made. With book production and printing already paid for via a successful Kickstarter campaign, 100% of proceeds from the sale of each book will go to fight poaching.

The book will be published in September 2016 and supported by an exhibition (sponsored by Land Rover) at La Galleria, Pall Mall in London from Monday 19th September – Saturday 1st October.

The book is now available to pre-order from Born Free.

Remembering Elephants Book Launch

THU, 22 SEP AT 19:30, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

As part of the launch of the book we are holding a special evening about elephant conservation and photography at the prestigious RGS in London.

The event will be introduced by Born Free founder Virginia McKenna OBE and as well as a presentation of the images from the book, will include talks by elephant expert Ian Redmond OBE and multi award-winning wildlife photographer Art Wolfe. The evening will culminate in an auction of some of the images from the book. The books themselves will also be on sale on the night with some of the photographers available to sign them if requested.

ALL profits from the evening will go to elephant conservation in Africa.
